Waterfront UTC is a University Technical College, offering a stem-focussed education. We offer a fantastic, unrivalled opportunity for any young person, aged 13-19, wishing to pursue a career in the Construction and Engineering sector.
Students at Waterfront UTC study a tailored curriculum which focuses on Engineering and Construction, whilst building a solid understanding in the core subjects. You have the opportunity to study either or both Engineering and Construction, Business Studies, Computer Science, Design Technology and Triple Science, alongside Maths, English Literature/Language and Combined Science.
At Waterfront UTC we provide a safe environment for everyone. We strive to create a culture of dignity, respect and trust and engender professionalism and leadership to make a positive difference, as well as to inspire and motivate to achieve enduring excellence.

We will be holding a number of Open Evenings for prospective Year 9 and Year 12 over the next few months, for those considering joining us in September 2025. Our next Open Evenings are:
Year 9 & Sixth Form Open Evening | Thursday 23rd January 2025 (5pm-7:30pm)
The evenings are a perfect opportunity to take a look around our building, learn more about the courses and opportunities we offer, and see some of our facilities in action. There will also be an opportunity to hear from our Principal at 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
