Waterfront UTC celebrated fantastic outcomes from this year's GCSE cohort. Congratulations to all of our students - your hard work has truly paid off!

We have sustained and improved outcomes, including a 25% increase in students achieving a grade 5+ in English and Maths. This is a testament to the hard work of our staff and the ambition of our young people.

Students also celebrated incredible individual results, including (but not limited to!)
🎯 SF who achieved 1x Grade 4, 2x Grade 5s, 4x Grade 6s, A Level 2 Merit and a Grade 8.
🎯 AM who achieved 5x Grade 6s, a Level 2 Merit, 1x Grade 7 and 2x Grade 8s.
🎯 SS who achieved 6x Grade 6s, 2x Grade 7s and 1x Grade 8.

Waterfront continues to offer fantastic opportunities with employers such as Laing O’Rouke and Saracen Horse Feeds. These partnerships have enabled access to a range of apprenticeships, which makes WUTC unique. Waterfront UTC is also welcoming its first cohort of Sixth Form T Level students in September, with exciting placements at firms including Willmott Dixon, Apex Contractors, and Enable.

Some of our students eventually move onto apprenticeships because they have opportunities not available elsewhere. These may include access to an Institute of Civil Engineers project called City Zen, where there is dedicated time to complete a project with an industry mentor.

The T Level students are learning in an industry-level, purpose-built classroom and dedicated work area. There is still time to join us on this unique, exciting, and innovative programme.
