Big Mental Health Conversation

A selection of our students attended 'The Big Mental Health Conversation' event held at Detling Showground on the 10th October, where they were able to participate in various activities.

CPD sessions took place throughout the morning where students were involved in discussions surrounding mental health and the mental health continuum.

There was also a marketplace available with representatives from various organisations who help support young people in Kent schools - The freebies were a great bonus for the students!

In the afternoon students split up to attend different workshops supporting anxiety and autism, which included petting alpaca's and dog walks.

Overall, the event was a success and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves while being educated on mental health, raising awareness and knowing which organisations are there to help them and other young people.
