How It Works
Students must select ONE Core Principle to study, worth 2 A-Levels, and ONE Core Option, worth 1 A-Level. Students also have the opportunity to select a 4th A-Level, by adding ONE Additional Option.
Note: A-Level Mathematics and A-Level 3D Design can also be selected as your Core Option.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSE Passes (Grade 4 or above) including English and Maths. Some subjects have separate entry requirements.

Foundation Pathway
We also offer a Foundation Pathway. The Foundation Pathway allows students who may need to resit their GCSE English and Maths, do so whilst also working towards a BTEC Level 2 in Construction and Engineering. Note: to follow this path, students must have achieved a minimum of a Grade 2 in GCSE English and Mathematics, with good attendance and a suitable reference from your current school. |

PSHE education at Waterfront UTC is a planned, developmental programme of learning through which students acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives now and in the future. As part of a whole-school approach, PSHE education develops the qualities and attributes students need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society.
We deliver our statutory responsibility through Company Time, Assemblies and Drop Down Days.
